"Screen Image Capture Program"
Version: MWSnap 3.74
Pros
Efficient, very fast to load AND to capture... can select any area to capture, or select any dialogue/window to capture...very easy to use - you can edit after you've captured - can save in all major formats (jpeg, gif, png, etc), plus it's FREE!
Cons
none - I love this program, it's the best of its kind
Summary
The best screen image-capture program on the market by a country mile... and best of all, it is 100% FREE! Highly recommended, the total file size is tiny, so you have no excuse not to! Seriously though, it is a really helpful program - and it is so easy to use

"Flexible and Reliable Screen Capture"
Version: MWSnap 3.74
Pros
It's very flexible - you can automatically capture the screen in user-selected intervals, magnifies & measures, too. Prints, rotates, some editing of the photo.
Cons
none that I've found.
Summary
Great program. I have used it for years - it is the most reliable screen capture program, I've used it with Win98 through Win7 - and a lot of my programs aren't working on Win7.

"Good program"
Version: MWSnap 3.74
Pros
Its easy to use and a novice could use it with ease.
Cons
It does not capture pics from movies and when you quide to to a certain area to see if it would capture that area it does not it will only capture the centre of the video and not what you quided it to capture.
Summary
Its good all round but it has an issue with capturing videos and other than that its good for what it is. You also have the choice of saving the pics in diffferent formats but it does not have the multi save function and every pic has to be saved seperately which can be annoying!!

Cons

Why does it have installshield?Summary
I found something much easier, which really doesn't require any installation - it's called SnapaShot. If you want to make qiuck and easy screenshots, try it.

"Hmm, not sure what to write. Overall I rate 9/10."
Version: MWSnap 3.74
Pros
This is a real good program to use because: it loads really fast; easy to use and actually 'functions like it suppose it'.
Cons
When using the 'snap-clip' function you have to have be careful. While using the mouse to capture an area, especially if it's from a separate window, have your window(s) ready! I recommend using ALT with TAB to

"Great little program of freeware! Thanks!"
Version: MWSnap 3.74
Pros
I use Windows 'Capture page' and it is useful, but MWsnap will work even if I E is locked up and I can't print. I can take a 'Snap' and print later. Gives an option to title the pic before saving. Has always worked well with other programs.
Cons
I haven't tried to configure the program, just downloaded and started using it about three years ago. Just re-installed a couple of months ago. No real cons from my experience.
Summary
I trust this little program to catch important things that might get away before I can otherwise save them. Thank you C-Net for your Editor Ratings; I can trust them.
