Though not as user-friendly as we'd hoped, MSN Polygamy does successfully launch multiple instances of the same or different MSN Messenger accounts.
The program's colorfully crowded interface features a Patch Now button to launch Messenger as many times as you need to. Although we like that we're able to sign into multiple instances of the same account--as well as different accounts simultaneously--it would be easier on the user if you could select the accounts to log in to and from MSN Polygamy's interface. Instead, the publisher loads the application's main window with other software programs to download.
We also would like options to employ the program's patching from the right-click context menu on the tray. Without Windows integration, we have to launch MSN Polygamy whenever a need to run multiple Messengers arises. Aside from that, this free application will find favor with MSN Messenger buffs who have multiple accounts.
Publisher's description
From MSN Content Plus :MSN Polygamy allows you to run more than one copy of MSN messenger, as well as many accounts simultaneously. It is easy to use. Run the program, and then click the button Patch Now, then your MSN Messenger can run more than one copy simultaneously. If your want to restore your MSN Messenger, please click the button Restore, then your MSN Messenger is restored.

Version: MSN Polygamy 8.1
Pros: I'll admit, I did not install software (largely because it is a "patch"....but I just wonder....
Cons: Why do you need this when you can instead have MSN Plus, a software that has been around for YEARS and has a large community. MSN Plus will allow you to have multiple instances of MSN messenger running and sign into multiple accounts. It will also allow you to fully skin MSN, have enhanced logs, extend they amount that can be typed into the window before having to hit enter, have customs sounds, tabbed chats, etc. You can check it out at msgpluslive.net. It is free and again, I have been using it for years and never had problems.

Version: MSN Polygamy 8.1
"Do NOT install this product!"
Pros: The Polygamy itself works wonderfully, you can open multiple clients with ease.
Cons: This program installs "MSN Content Plus" which has several add-ons for MSN Live Messenger. While it states initially there is no fee, it starts demanding you register (I believe it's $19.95) every hour with pop-up windows that disrupt everything you're doing, including pulling you back to the desktop in the middle of your MMO. Uninstalling MSN Content Plus or MSN Live Messenger does not fix this, nor does running a spam deletion program. I finally identified the .exe files, they were hidden in C:/WINDOWS with no icons, and would not shut down process so you could delete them. Going into safe mode and manually deleting the files finally fixed the problem.
