Publisher's description
From Proteron :MPecker Encoder is an audio encoder and CD audio extractor all rolled into one. You can encode AIFF files sampled at appropriate frequencies into MPEG files. It will encode 44,100-Hz PCM files as well. Just drag your AIFF file(s) onto the icon. When recording from a CD, the encoder first copies the audio data to your hard disk. If there is not enough space available, it will encode the data part by part (this can, however, result in some noticeable clicks in the audio signal). You will need about 11MB for every minute you're going to encode on your boot disc. You have the option of encoding in three modes: mono, stereo, and joint stereo.
