MPS-Sudoku can offer clues to the solution as you play, or you can wait until you've finished the puzzle. Includes the assistant feature, which helps you to see the next placement by better understanding the rules. The Input Wheel makes entering numbers quicker and easier, and puzzles have an improved appearance and printing options. Includes a puzzle timer to record your best time or race against the clock, and a 'transform' feature to rotate the puzzle to help kick-start solving when you're fed up staring at the same grid. Also includes Sounds Profiles, which play user-defined MP3 audio files when various events occur during the game.

"Friendly, full-featured, one of the best!"
Pros: The user interface is outstanding (easy and simple) and the game is highly configurable with many advanced options. You can choose to display candidate numbers, for example. Or cross-hatching. For a really diabolical "stumper" you can choose a path and recover from it, if it goes bad. Dozens of options like these make the great fun but also a terrific learning tool. I highly recommend it!
Cons: There's very little to not like about this version of Sudoku. I installed it on my laptop and have played it hundreds of times. On three occasions it crashed for no apparent reason but re-launching was quick and clean. This may not be MPS-Sudoku's fault, of course.

"Feed your addiction properly - use MPS-Sudoku!"
Pros: I came to Sudoku really late in the craze. I tried a few other programs but really wish I'd seen this one first.
A lot of Sudoku programs are pretty much the same, with the same kind of features.
But this one is different.
So much thought has gone into it - they guys behind it must be dedicated players, because they seem to have thought of eveything.
And at this price, can you affort not to buy it..?!??

Pros: I love this software!
It's so easy to use, and has great features not found elsewhere.
If you're used to different software, then it can be hard to leave it for something better.
But this is well worth the change - seriously.
