Version: MPS-Sudoku 2.7
"Excellent Utility for the Puzzle Master and the Novice!"
Pros: I am a long time fan of Sudokus. I was looking for a tool that would help with some of the more mundane techniques and this utility has something for everyone! The master puzzler will enjoy the features that take away some of the drudge work, and the novice will benefit from the hints and many other features. Properly formed Sudokus are all solvable by logic, but sometimes it is tedious to sift through the data. This tool really helps with that phase. It works great and I recommend it. It's worth the price.
Cons: It takes a bit long to load up, and unless you know what some of the features are you might not understand how to use them -- a user manual or quick reference would be helpful.

"Fast and reliable, with regular function updates."
Pros: If you love Sudoku puzzles, get this programme. It's got a fast puzzle generator and if you like learning and solving at the computer it's got loads of great features - or if you just want to dump them to paper and solve them the hard way that's fine too.
An unexpected treat was the regular programme upgrades, each one providing real enhancements and often extra features too. I love the way you can update it from within the programme - really slick.
Cons: Puzzles can sometimes have more than one solution - but that's probably called a feature and not a con....
