Play Sudoku puzzles on your PC--why use pen and paper, when you can point and click? MPS-Sudoku has unlimited puzzles for you to play, or you can copy puzzles from newspapers and magazines. The Input Wheel makes entering numbers quicker and easier, and puzzles have an improved appearance and printing options. Includes a puzzle timer to record your best time or race against the clock, and a 'transform' feature to rotate the puzzle to help kick-start solving when you're fed up staring at the same grid.

Version: MPS-Sudoku 2006 4.30
Cons: Really bad marketing idea and a really half-arse game! Unorganised menus and boring gameplay and annoying puzzles ruin it.
AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Puzzles with 2, 3 or 5 overlapping grids!!!"
Pros: I got bored with the standard 9 by 9 grids in other programs, but then I found this which lets you play puzzles with more than one grid.
The level of customization is unrivalled, and I love playing this now that I've got it set up exactly how I want it.
Looks great too, because you can adjust exactly how the puzzles look.
I've stopped looking for other - none will get better than this.
Cons: Could do with a help file, but it's real easy to use anyhow.

"Nice game; poor customer service"
Cons: I registered MPS-Sudoku in December, and my wife and I played it a bit and enjoyed it. Due to a computer crash in February, though, it was lost. (While I'm rather fanatic about backing up data, I don't generally back up program files, since they're easily re-acquired.) I finally got the urge in May to play again, and so re-downloaded and installed the game. Lo and behold, my registration key no longer worked. Turns out that while I wasn't playing, version 3 became version 4, and a new payment was expected. I don't really care about all the "bells and whistles," though, and (understandably, I think) have no desire to pay again for a game I've already purchased and only occasionally play. So I contacted the customer service folk and asked for a version 3.x installer. They flatly refused to provide one. THE MORAL OF THE STORY: If you really want all of the fancy extras, then by all means, go ahead and pay for MPS-Sudoku, but be aware that you'll probably end up paying for it more than once as the programmers arbitrarily up the version number. But if you simply want to create and solve sudoku puzzles on your computer, then I'd strongly recommend doing what I've now done (and should have done in the first place). Give MPS-Sudoku a pass, and download one of the many free sudoku programs available here or elsewhere on the Web.

Version: MPS-Sudoku 2006 4.30
Pros: I've been following this product for some time, and it just keeps getting better and better.
It's recent facelift keeps it looking fresh. The slideout panels work well when you need them, but you can hide them when you can't.
The 'help' features are best of class. They don't just tell you which number goes where, they tell you *why*.
I like the way you can customize almost everything. OK, that gets a bit tricky, but you don't have to use everything, just choose what you want and what you don't.
I also like the new printinf functionality they've just introduced.
And - they acually listen to their customers. Ask them to include something, and explain why, and they'll let you know if they can do it.
Cons: Could do with a help file.

Version: MPS-Sudoku 2006 4.30
Pros: no way
Cons: a very poor engine, graphics for old PC but 6,13 MB for that... it had a design of free game but it cost too much dollars...
