"let it run overnight...sweeet morning surprise"

used this during the night on 2000+ music files after buying it, and was very pleasantly surprised. Did not catch all album covers, but came very close. Probably some redundant material which is my fault. Totally filled in many empty spaces. Worked better and faster on my entire library than anything I have ever seen before. Not that there is much else like this anyhow. Especially for the Mac. Easy to use and a BIG TIME SAVER for just a $20 pop. Other info like year, artist, title filled in even better. Unbelievably thorough and accurate even for weird stuff. Very highly recommended. -

After going through a chunk of songs it often gets stuck on a song and doesn't proceed any further, and it's not the song that is the problem because if you select that song alone it will work but after going through multiple it gets stuck. Mind you this works great for a beta (though ten bucks may be a better price for it but the author can charge whatever the want I guess) Also sometimes it pulls up incorrect information but I guess that's not so much the programs fault as it is the idiots who post incorrect information on the internet. -

This app is deceptive in that it is quite teeny but so wonderful if you are detail oriented and meticulous with your music library. I have wanted something like this for a long time-the alternative being very time consuming. Also, very pleased when it discovered earlier versions that I never knew even existed. Can be annoying in limited mode if you've got a massive collection. I bought it, used it, love it. Now having fun experimenting with it. Very smooth running. Not a hitch. -

it doesn't work all that great. It just gives up on and does nothing to a lot of songs in my database, fairly common stuff too (like The Doors - Light My Fire). Also mistaged a song or two (but the album as a "best of" album even though I had "oldest" selected as the overiding album) I HATE the 3 song change limit, but I refuse to pay $20 when the product doesn't work very well. I did a bit of packet sniffing and it looks like the program queries both allmusic.com and cdnow.com, not sure where else. Keep up the good work, but for now I wouldn't pay more than $5 or $10 for this. -

Yes, this is a great idea and looks like the developer has implemented it nicely. But BE VERY AWARE of the initial warning that it "hasn't been tested with AACp files" and back them up first! In my experiments I discovered that an iTunes Music Store file I'd purchased was corrupted and rendered unplayable after using this application. Still, those files are already tagged nicely with metadata and pictures, so I don't really see a need for this application to even touch them in the first place. At the very least, this beta should have the ability to ignore them completely -- perhaps until the beta is known to be rock solid in dealing with them? Consider this a feature request.
That said, it appears to work well with old MP3 files I had lying around. I'd like some more information on where this data is coming from and how "trustworthy" it is. In other words, I'm not so sure I'd just drop my 70+ GB MP3 library on it and let it go to town.
I am looking forward to seeing this program mature. When it can handle (or safely ignore) AACp files, I'll probably register. -

It is great. This is a great product for an oldie like me that can get all his old album covers very easly and bring back memories. I have had no problems with this beta. It seems more stable than a lot of version ones. Looking froward to version 1.
