Version: MP3Namer 1.0
"Straightforward and functional"
Summary: A great little program! I am in the process of recording my LP collection to mp3's, and this is exactly what I was looking for. I tried a handful of other freeware/shareware tag editors, some were awkward, while others were all flash and poor function.
Using MP3Namer, I can load an entire album into a spreadsheet type view, and change the common tags for all files at once. I can then individually edit the song titles and batch rename the files.
The interface for this program is plain and uncluttered, it does what it needs to do in a straightforward and easy manner.
The only minor quirk I noticed was that when editing a single tag, there seems to be a 2 second delay between selecting the file and when the program will allow you to open the individual tag field for changes. Can't complain for the price, though!
This was a very well spent $5!
