Version: MP3Gain 1.2.5
"Outside of WinAMP, this is the only other NECESSARY software for music"
Pros: Its free.
It works WONDERS on music that is not very loud.
Its as easy as cake to use, too!
Cons: None that I can think of...well, other than the fact that this isn't exactly a "professional" audio tool. So you get what you pay for. Its a consumer level audio tool. So while this is good enough for your casual music listener the output is nowhere near good enough for audiophiles.

Version: MP3Gain 1.2.5
Pros: Does a great job of normalizing volumes on my mp3s. Nice interface and easy to use.
Cons: Would be even better if it were portable and the settings were in an INI file instead of under VBA programs in the registry.

"The best normalizer you can get"
Pros: This normalizing process will not destroy
your MP3s and the soundquality, you could
always change back to default.
Did the normalizing in a better way than
most other software.
Cons: Have some serious bugs, Xp will sometimes
freeze when you restart or switch off XP.
CounterSpy (best antispyware) report that
MP3Gain did several forbidden runnings and
will even change the registry when MP3Gain
is not started. Acts really like spyware
or malware. Could even be bad written
software.

Version: MP3Gain 1.2.3
"You'll be suprised on what you find"
Pros: If you've ever recorded from a streaming radio station, downloaded a shifty mp3 or converted from a wav or wma you are gonna need this! I have run all my songs through this and nine times out of ten the volume was either spiking or so low I couldn't hear it without the trash in the background. Two swings though this very easy program and they play at the same volume and as clear as ever. I love this, and use it everyday. Even songs from your own cds benefit from a little TLC from MP3Gain - and it's free!
Cons: Nothing that I can think of - I mean it wont work with wav's or wma, but it wouldn't be called MP3Gain if it could.

Version: MP3Gain 1.2.5
Pros: Useful tool to avoid those times when you hear one track at a decent volume and the next one either hurts your ears, or you can't hear it too well, makes them all the same level, so much easier to listen to. Very easy to use
Cons: N/A
