Version: MP3 Splitter 1.11
"Good UI, But degrades output files (trial version)."
Pros: This is a specific tool with a simple easy to use, intuitive interface. It auto replays the audio in the immediate area that an edit is being made, which eliminates potentially hundreds of key clicks while editing.
Cons: I used this product to make many of my own ringtones. After saving several tracks segments I exited the application and tried to play them on an MP3 player app. They couldn't be read at all. I tried loading them back into MP3 Splitter and discovered that the playback was choppy and distorted. I reloaded the originals and they played fine. This app is so trivial I can't blame this on pilot error.
