Version: MP3 My MP3 Recorder 2.0
"Installs Trojan rkverify.exe EVEN IF YOU DECLINE"
Pros: terrible, terrible misleading software. The website has written in bolc 100% spyware free. that shoul have got me suspicious. It installs "relevant knowledge" ad/market survey software that monitors your web pages. No unistall button
Cons: No way to uninstall apart from brute force manual delete
Summary: Do not bother installing. IT does not work in Vista. One cannot select teh "source" of audio to be mic or wave out etc. IT can'tt I guess get through Vista restrictions/
installs spyware. Check running processes and temp directories for rkverify.exe
Installs spyware even in you decline
Does NOT WORK IN VISTA. Was not able to record mic / or wav out in Vista.
Also anything that installes "market research" software on the SLY inspite of having 100% spwyare free written on the web site, and then gives you no option of installing the spyware or not with the main software (even if you decline it isntalls and runs it in in teh backkgroudn anyway -- just do a filemon to see what files the installer is putting on yoru machine, and then which ones are running), is just not worth installing. There are hundreds or ther good free audion recording freeware out there. You have been warned.
