"Installs Trojan rkverify.exe EVEN IF YOU DECLINE"
Pros: terrible, terrible misleading software. The website has written in bolc 100% spyware free. that shoul have got me suspicious. It installs "relevant knowledge" ad/market survey software that monitors your web pages. No unistall button
Cons: No way to uninstall apart from brute force manual delete
installs spyware. Check running processes and temp directories for rkverify.exe

Does NOT WORK IN VISTA. Was not able to record mic / or wav out in Vista.Summary: Do not bother installing. IT does not work in Vista. "Contains a Trojan Horse (?) called relevant Knowledge"
Pros: Good Software BUT
Cons: Contains a Trojan called Relevant Knowledge and misguides one if one wants to remove Relevant Knowledge from the Control Panel.
Summary: If we want to keep the recorder but want to get rid of relevant Knowledge we are told to remove it from the Control Panel. IF YOU DO, it leaves a dll called rsl in Program Files, that CANNOT be deleted there. However, you can get rid of both by "Unin... read more

"No Uninstall Funktion, No Funktion at all"
Pros: there is nothing good to say about this prog
Cons: lots, sorry it does not work at all, any button is not working and it shows 4 Main Loudness inputs to choose from, not even one from my soundcard.

"doen't work with my sound card"
Pros: don't know - it doesn't work
Cons: It won't record sounds from a web broser due to some issue with my sound card compatibility. I'm using a Dell XPS400 with windows XP pro

Version: MP3 My MP3 Recorder 2.0
Pros: It is small, compact, and seemingly simple to use.
Cons: The program doesn't work. I record & the playback says there's no recording to play. Also, the record volume is non-adjustable; it sets itself to 0 when changed. I should mention, though, that I have Vista, so it may be my OS causing the problems.
Summary: If it's not my OS causing the problem, then there's a reason why it's free; it doesn't work. read more
