Have lots of portable discs, DVD/CD but don't know where a file is and whether there are duplicate ones? ME-Datum is the file datum that helps you search files by name pattern, size and md5. Datum even supports scanning files inside zip. It can run on Windows, Linux and Mac. Datum has two ways of comparing file, by file size or by file md5. It enables user to launch file directly or open its containing folder. It also supports multiple search progresses and has batch scan functionality. It's highly suggested user has 4G memory. Current functionalities - Multiple platform support. Based on Java and JavaFX. Available on all platforms supporting Java 8. - Scan files under a folder, particularly from DVD, USB or portable disks. - Scan files in a zip or jar file. - View folder structure. - Goto container folder or open file directly from within Datum. - Search file by name.
