Features.
Cons
Too many features not enough security. Lose the features and bring back a simply, efficient server what it's supposed to do. Deliver mail. I have switched to Linux Postfix. This program is a memory hog.

"So far, I'm happy with it"

Pros
I needed an IMAP server to use with squirrelmail. After messing around with UW-IMAP and FreeBSD for several days I gave up. I was very reluctant to use a Windows server because all of them seemed bloated, with tons of features I had no use for. MDaemon is no exception, but it is one of the cheapest available, and all of the uneeded features seem to stay of out my way. And even though there was no mbox import feature (at least none that I could find) it was easy to write a converter.
Cons
Too many features. No mbox format import, even though it is an extremely common format. Also they asked for my name and email before I could download the trial, which annoys me.
