Very handy for use with MCE... converts to a decent file format of your choice and skips the commercials : )
It's free and very helpful.Cons
Could be set to use less system recources or work in the background. Of course you can set it to work at night if it is a big issue.

Pros
I have been looking for something to convert DVR-MS files to a format for easy editing. I work on tv, and needed something that would easily convert my files, so i can keep my DVD resume up to date. Stays down in the task bar, gets the job done!
Cons
slightly slow, but it gets the job done, let it do its thing, and a short while later, you can do yours, it took me about 2 minutes to render for every one minute of video

great program, i will continue using it until my computer bites the dust!!
