"Addicting and Absorbing"

Pros
Really great graphics and music, and voices are great too. Gameplay is awesome and multiplayer in full version is (or was) pretty fun. lack of support from the crap house called EA sucks but theres plenty of amazing third party patches and mods.
Cons
it takes awhile to get a good match on multiplayer, war of the ring is kinda lacking for the original, and EA has pretty much abandoned this game. The expansion pack is horrible with the only good bonus being the extended war of the ring.
Summary
The game really taught me alot about strategy and middle-earth. Its really fun and the graphics are amazing. Barely any bugs and you only run into cheaters once in awhile on multiplayer. Don't get the expansion as there are so many more bugs, imbalances, and game crashes. However, the original game (BFME2) is amazing.

Have played demo before and worked fine however, with all the latest updates done, game will no longer install. Direct X incompatibility.

I had problems downloading from EA and no problems here. The game is VERY good. It's not perfect, as it's limited by variety of units and the lack of the 3rd dimension in strategy, but so were the middle ages. Very happy with the game, and I'm sure I'll buy the anthology now!
Cons
I was impressed with how much came with the demo that I have no complaints. Most demos are FAR more limited.

Nice graphics. The game draws you into its world, and huge units such as trolls or mumakils, slaughtering 3-4 units in each swoop is cool. Fast gameplay.
Cons
Heroes are waaay too good in the late game, unit AI is less than mediocre, buildings are destroyed way to fast. It got some balance issues.

Damn. I was certaintly blown away by the gameplay. This isn't the average 'starcraft' or 'warcraft'. lots of fun.
Cons
wouldn't recommend for slow computers..it completley lags up the whole thing. good graphic card required.
