Version: LogonStudio 1
"Makes the logon screen look amazing"
Pros: with thousands of logon skins to choose from, you are bound to find one that you like or one that will match your computer's theme. The program is extremely easy to use and intuitive and will take 10 seconds to get your logon screen set up
Cons: none. If anyone finds a program that can change the tune after logon, please tell me.

just replace the existant .wav file in your system sounds list with your favourite sound i like to sometimes use the old "always the real thig" Coca-Cola theme song....get .wav files from Simplythebest.com i think is the best 1

You can change the login sound your self under control panel and then sounds.

If you are using Windows XP A sound Event labeled Windows Logon plays when a user logs in from the welcome screen due to the computer being locked (Screensaver), or due to a previous user logging off or switching users. If the computer is booting and you log in, The Windows Start Event Plays when you log in. The Windows Logout Event plays when the Welcome screen is displayed after exiting the screen saver, or when another user logs out or chooses to switch users.

Just go to start, control panel, Sounds and Audio Devices, sounds tab. After logon is Start Windows, and after logoff is Exit windows.
