I'd recommend it for anyone into customizing their Vista or Windows 7 PC. I just wish that there was a easy way to convert logons made for XP to be functional for Vista and/or Windows 7.

Pros
LogonStudio 1.7 works very well. It accurately changes the logon picture on my Windows 7 laptop, and works without any trouble. I would use it on all my computers if possible. Highly recommended.
Cons
Not really any cons, but just when you apply the theme I wish it wouldn't lock you, and show you what it did, I wish it had a preview button, or something similar to manually lock the computer and see the changes.

Super program, simple to use, works well, wonderful screens, and FREE. Contrary to what I have read here it works really well on my XP pro sp3. Might be nice to have an auto screen changer, or random screen changer.

I really like the ability to customize my logon screen and can change it from time to time. My family and friends are impressed. Makes an otherwise boring machine a little more interesting.

I don't have Win 7 yet so I can't make a comparison, but if there are issues nder Win 7 then that would be a problem for me as well.

Logon screens can no longer be set to change at random.
Summary
When running LogonStudio under XP, you could have a list of logon screens which could be set to change at random, adding a pleasant bit of surprise to begin your day. The current version of LS for Windows 7 allows you to save a set of logon screens, but the same screen will always appear until it is manually changed.

You can find this entertaining feature in paid versions (as Tune-Up Utilities) but you have to pay. This one`s free. But...
Cons
Does NOT UNINSTALL. Does not go whatever I tried to do to put it off my system. Does not have an UNINSTALL button!!!! It roots on your pc.

I haven´t run my Malwarebytes yet, but Im sure it will show something on this app!

I found out about this tool from Greg Shultz's blog, He said you could change the login screen in windows 7 with out using this tool but I could not get it to work. So I downloaded logon studio 1.7 and changed it easally. I think this is great.
Cons
The only fall back with logon studio is, you can not set any of the great pictures as your back ground.
