Version: LogMeIn Hamachi 1.0.2.5
Pros: This program has its uses, have you ever wanted to play an online game with a friend privatley without noobs and minges getting on, but without having to pay for a proper server? Well this is you answer to that problem.
The program allows most games (I have only tested out source games such as Half Life 2: deathmatch and Garrysmod)to connect over a fake LAN and create servers to use, you have to invite people into your network before they can use it so it is partially secure and it is also easy enough to understand and use.
Cons: I am not too sure what happens when you run this on a PC with no security and someone you dont know joins the netwrok because you forgot to password it, so I am not saying this is 100% secure but the risk is worth it...just remember to protect your PC.
The program can also take a while to log into the LogMeIn networks.

"Free is OK, but their Premium paid is rubbish"
Pros: It works sometimes.
Cons: The paid Premium doesn't work in some cases and their support is rubbish, they don't provide solutions support requests. If your work depends on this networking feature, you're out of business.

Version: LogMeIn Hamachi 1.0.2.5
Pros: - Provides an easy set-up VPN
- VPN does not require a dedicated PC / server (provided by LogMeIn)
- Can play "LAN" games with people over the internet
- Networks are password-protected to only admit known users
- Works without router re-configCons: - Transfer speeds not always the best.
- Control is rather limited
- UI can be somewhat confusing
- Playing LAN-type games sometimes requires first two octets to match, requiring an IP-address reset for each user.
- IP reset not straight forwardSummary: Overall, I really like Hamachi as a simple VPN deployment. It does not require a lot of configuration by any of the users. We can share files with each other and play "LAN" games without everyone actually being in the local area network. However, ... read more
