Version: LogMeIn Free 4.0.774
"Free really IS free, there is no bait and switch"
Pros: Simple to install, simple to use, works like a champ!
Cons: None so far.
Summary: Don't be confused by reviewers stating that the free product is not free, it IS free. The free trial period only lasts for 30 days or 2 hours of usage, whichever comes first. When that period ends, you are given a choice of subscribing to the Pro version (which is what you are using during the trial), or doing nothing, which means your trial converts into an ongoing FREE subscription to LogMeIn Free.
There is no bait and switch - you can use the free product for free, forever.
I have been using LogMeIn for about a week now (I blew thru my two hours in the first day and converted to the free version at that time), and I'm totally in love with this product.
I am an online retailer, and need to be able to make updates to my website remotely. I am using LogMeIn Free to access my desktop PC from my laptop while traveling, and it is seamless. Before trying LogMeIn, I tried GoToMyPC - it worked, but I prefer the simple interface I get with LogMeIn, and free never hurts!
