"Seems a good tool"

Pros

Cons
Support tickets system is very slow
-
"Ransomware"
Version: Loaris Trojan Remover 1.2.0.4
Pros
It has a nice interface and looks like a regular security program
Cons
The trial version did not allow for removal of the so-called trojans. Purchased for $45 from Avangate and ran more scans, with the same results. A popup said they were removed, but additional scans turned up the same results.
Summary
This appears to be ransomware, designed to get you to purchase a program that showed false positives on my computer. A Loaris support person finally concluded that my computer was clean, after I sent him over 10 HighJackThis files. When I asked for a refund, I never received another response from the company. I use Avast, Sunbelt Vipre, PreEmpt, Threatfire, A-Squared, SuperAntiSpyware Pro, and Microsoft Security Essentials, and none of those so-called trojans were detected by any of those programs.

"Efficient trojan removal"
Version: Loaris Trojan Remover 1.2.0.4
Pros
This product was easy to install, and found and cleaned trojans that other programs did not detect. It also changed settings back that had been modified by the trojans
Cons
I had to buy the full version to eliminate problems, but it was worth it.

"Questionable program"
Version: Loaris Trojan Remover 1.2.0.4
Pros
This program has nice layout and it is easy to use.
Cons
It provides , in my experience, false positive results.
Summary
The program flagged for these files:
Unpnp.exe (Gibson) - Trojan.Win32.Midgare.adjf
Showmypc2963.exe - Trojan.General
ff_kernelDeint.dll - Trojan.QvodPlayer
setupempdrv03.exe - Trojan.Win32.FraudPack.vds
Non were scanned positive on http://www.virustotal.com/.
Nor Spyware Terminator, Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, Spybot - Search & Destroy.
Try it yourself, but be careful with the result. -

"Alerets you to "problems" so you purchase full version"
Version: Loaris Trojan Remover 1.2.0.2
Pros
LOARIS TROJAN REMOVER Seems to locate malware undetected by other programs. But these "detections" seem to be false positive aimed at scaring you into purchasing full product
Cons
I ran the trial scan and detected a backdoor called "fatbot." I wanted to remove it so I had to purchase the full version of LOARIS. I paid, then rescanned the whole system and did not turn up again therefore unable to remove. SCAM
Summary
It's a SCAM. Lead you to believe you have trojans/malware so you will purchase full system to remove them.

Cons

"AMAZING PRPDUCT!!!"
Version: Loaris Trojan Remover 1.1.5.7
Pros
Amazing detection and highly efficient!
Cons
None, not yet. Maybe loud buzz sound when it makes when it finds something, but that's hardly something to complain about.
Summary
This application is awesome. It finds things that other scanners just do not pick up. The scans are fast, usually within 15 minutes and considering it finds malicious items based upon behaviour and I'm sure it has some kind of database, it's amazing it doesn't produce more false positives.
I think the world of this program. It does everything it's supposed to do; fast and efficient. The responsiveness of the support team is almost ridiculous. It's crazy how fast they get back to you. I guess it's just my experience with it, but I honestly don't know what I would do without this program. Don't get me wrong I have Kasperksy and use MBAM as well, but I have to put this right up there.
Unless it's gotten really lucky with finding trojans and other things that look suspicious; but it's accomplished it time and time again, so it's not luck. I download alot of stuff from sites that...well let's just say they're not CNET - DOWNLOAD.COM, (you know what I mean) and it always picks up the bad stuff. GREAT!!!
