"Probably the best free aquarium screensaver I?ve seen"
Pros
Free, pretty, very customisable
Cons
Fish are a little pixalated but hey, it?s free. You do need a good graphics card otherwise it won?t install.
Summary
This screensaver has a lot going for. At the start of installation just make sure to uncheck the add boxes and you?ll have nothing to complain about. It also checks your graphics settings during installation for optimal performance. This can be a problem if you don?t have a good graphics card as I found out? It installed fine on my laptop but my desktop didn?t have an appropriate card & so the screensaver wouldn?t install. Ho-hum.
Once installed the settings menu gives quite a number of options for your tank. You have a choice of 3 backgrounds (which are all nice and clear and with swaying plants) from which you can choose to display just one, or have them rotate on start. You can then choose the number of fish from a wide variety of species. Just be careful when typing? 100 is an accepted number! You also have other settings to choose from like sound, bubbles etc. The only downside to this screensaver is that the fish are a little pixilated. But let?s face it, it?s a free screensaver and you get what you pay for. Fish pixilation aside there is a lot this screensaver can do and I?m very happy with it.
