..it will not install as long as you have another anti-virus installed and it's not AVG.
Summary
Why, release it as freeware if the software developers at AVG won't let you install it unless you have their anti-virus (and it is included in the AVG program to begin with)? Is this a cheap shot to attempt to draw users away from their trusted anti-virus programs,such as Avast,and install their program ? Keep the link scanner; I'll stay with a better anti-virus (Avast) and get the McAfee Site Adviser instead.

I have everything i can get from A.V.G and i have ben using it for several years and to date have not had any Problem with my Computer or any Software i run on it. A.V.G will do what they say it will do. Just try it and you will use it.

It says it works on Win7. But, when you try to install it, the program tells you that the Microsoft sucurity essentials program must be removed.

It protects and provide valuable information which allows my laptop to run smooth with the peace of mind to know it is protected in most cases.

No cons at this time hope I will never have any negative complaints later either.

I've used other products and paid for them without the good service AVG offers. I am like the bandage, I'm stuck on AVG.
