Pros
Iv only been using for an afternoon,but i find it easy to install & easy to use which suits me fine. When you google it assesses the list that google brings up & tells you if they are safe,who owns the site & where it is based,and obviously tells you if they are not & why. Im using the 15 day trial of the pro one though not the free one.
Cons
Nothing as yet because iv only been using it for an afternoon,apart from having to pay for the full version..

I downloaded this program and decided to give the Pro version a tryout. It completely crashed my Internet Explorer 7, would not log on and had my cooling fan kick into high gear trying to keep my computer cool! Absolute garbage!!!

They are better in protecting you in exploits more than any other known safe browsing add-ons.
Cons
Somehow they specialize more on exploits rather than common, everyday malware like viruses, trojans, spyware (they considered zango green), adware etc.

I am addicted to seeing the ratings. Once you find a couple bad ones it makes you wonder if you could have gotten nailed without this product. Tried Siteadvisor but disliked their firefox version. I read positive reviews for LinkScanner and now love it.

I tried the pro version it said your trail is up in 30 days im like fine got 30 days to try it im like sweet, so i tried it updated it and rebooted my computer.. after my computer rebooted double- clicked on the Icon it said Your trail as ended????? I just download it 10 secs ago and 20 secs later my trial is up??? Not worth it if ya want something better get McAfee Siteadvisor or netcraft.. there better and at least you know they work..

i put linkscanner lite on me comp,fine. however it was in fact (linkscanner pro)that i ended up with not (linkscanner lite) that i wanted and downloaded and all it was telling me was how much better off i would be if i payed for the pro 1 ,and was telling me i had 30 days left of trial even tho i had just downloaded the free 1..lol,no thanx , i'll stick with site adviser...bit of a con maybe..?.

I just downloaded this product and I must say, it's pretty damn cool. It's crazy how much bad stuff is out on the web and you don't even realize it unless you're running a program that is smart enough to identify all the shady sites out there. I'm usually pretty conscientious of where I surf on the web, but I'm now finding that sites I thought we legit have some potential security concerns. The integration with google is cool too - I've never seen anything like it.

Wow. What a great addition to searching - I love the icons. I want to see this info all the time now. Surpising no one did this sooner...a great idea.
