Summary
This is a lightweight and excellent tool to check your bookmarks. Once the file is loaded, you can leave the program do it's thing. My 500 delicious-bookmarks were scanned in under 9 minutes.
Only con: some false positives. I had 17 "broken" links, from whom about 10 turned out to be actually broken. Being cautious or doing some hand-checking on reported links is certainly necessary. -

Could use an option to delete empty folders.
Summary
I seem to collect bookmarks, but my OCD forces me to check them occasionally to clean them out. This makes that so much simpler. I had about 300 bookmarks in 54 folders, and it scanned quickly. It gave me a report on what links were questionable or bad and why, then gave me the option to uncheck those I wanted to keep. It cleaned the files very quickly. It's not an advanced bookmark manager, but if you just want to clean out your bad links, it's just right.

"Doesn't work with FF 3"

Doesn't work with FF 3 even though it's website claims it works with most browsers.
Summary
If you don't use FF 3, then AM-Deadlink is a better, full-featured free product. (it doesn't work with FF 3 either).
