"Wonderful Dictonary!"

Pros
Using latest ver. Not only you can use it as dictionary but you can use it for Text to Speech(TTS) to read out the words. You can highlight words and translate immediately. Nice looking interface. Can be use offline and fast outputs.
Cons
1. The download for the dictionary at the site is not very good. I have to keep resuming it. And it's not just once or twice, I have to keep resuming it every second.

2. I wish the text translation in the program can output a few results at once, it is a bit hassle to change it to a different translate engine to see a few results. I wanted to see the results of a few online translate engine at once together.
3. I wish there is a shortcut/hotkey to choose different Text to Speech package. Because I use the Chinese and Japanese TTS and everytime I have to change them manually which is a hassle depending on what I want it to read.
4. Support at their website is not working. I wish there is a place where I can give some suggestions.
Despite the Cons, I'm still giving it a 5 start because I'm finding the program really good, really useful and surprised that it being free. I really hope the above features can be included. -

Flexible settings for enabling/disabling autorun and adding an icon to desktop, quick launch menu and/or taskbar. Keyboard shortcuts for launching the application and looking for a selected word in other applications. Many free dictionaries available
Cons
Older versions don't work if a newer version is available, problems in update process, extremely slow dictionary downloads from its website.

This program does everything that Babylon, and even more.
Honestly I paid for Babylon and regret that I did not have Lingoes 5 years ago.
I uninstalled Babylon the second minute I installed Lingoes.
I love it from the moment I found it. I know a list of translators out there
to compare with, and recommend this one as No.1!!!!
I have no idea how developers manage this software as free to use, but
THANKS TO LINGOES.

I can't think of anything to make it better. It starts off being free...what more could you ask for? I guess if money's the criterion, they could pay us to use it, but I think free is quite enough for an exceptional product.

It's a great way to learn new languages. With this, I have been able to chat with my family in Italy, Germany and Scotland.
Cons
Some of the sentences did not come out the way I wanted it, so I had to reword them so it would. With the instant translator, I was able to do this. Thanks!!!
Summary
I haven't really been through the whole program yet, but from what I have used, I think it's a great.
