Version: LimeWire X 4.18.8
"Wow... Really People?"
Pros: It works great, as long as you know what to watch out for. When downloading songs, make sure the song has a BitRate next to it, otherwise there's a 90% change it's a virus. If you're not paying attention, you deserve a virus infection on your PC.
Cons: Since the average person has no observational skills, it is easy for the average user to get a virus infection. They really need to have better way so discerning which files are bad and which files are good.
Summary: It seems like a majority of the people that gave the bad reviews are half-retarded monkeys. Since you can't figure things out I will summarize what to watch out for:
1) When downloading music, make sure that there is a BitRate listed for the song you are downloading. If there is none, it is most likely a virus.
2) Look at the size of the file. If it is only a couple hundred Kilobytes (KB), it is a virus. Never download anything this small in size unless it is a picture file, in which case you still need to be careful. Always scan your files before opening them.
3) Look at the name of the file you are downloading. If it has some bizarre crap in the title, don't download it.
4) Going back to the second point, try and download music files that are at the very least... 128... anything lower and you tend to get some funky files that usually won't play. But again... scan your files before opening them... always. Don't be dumb. Think.
