"LimeWire is safe and very FAST at downloading music"
Pros: I noticed the last two reviewers were complaining about viruses in the software files. LimeWire is safe if you know what you are doing. I am going to explain one more time how to use Limewire. LimeWire has TONS of search results, TONS of hosts, and lightning fast downloads. With broadband you can download 50 popular songs in about 10 minutes or less. Some songs take less than 10 seconds! You can also chose which host has the fastest connection to download from. T3 is the fastest, followed by T1, Cable/ DSL, and Modem. LimeWire is also very good at finding Full length feature films, videos, games, and software products. LimeWire Has no ads or popups to distract you. If you are downloading just music, you shouldn't have any problems. But if you are downloading games, movies, or other software products,try to know the correct size, and NEVER download a file that is smaller than 1 MB. It will be a virus. Also never download an exe file..only RAR files, and always scan with your virus protection. Some of these small virus files are sent by the publishers,( because they feel we should buy their product instead of getting it for free) , and some by sick perks who think it is a joke to give you a virus. As far as spyware, most p2p apps are considered spyware by many antispy programs. If your spy cleaner detects LimeWire as spyware...just uncheck the box or add it to the always ignore list, sometimes called the White list. Hope this answers your questions. "Lightning fast searches and downloads"
Pros: LimeWire has TONs of search results, TONS of hosts, and lightning fast downloads. I don't know about the speed for dialup users, but with broadband you can download 50 popular songs in about 10 minutes or less. Some songs take less than 10 seconds! You can also chose which host has the fastest connection to download from. T3 is the fastest, followed by T1, Cable/ DSL, and Modem.
Cons: Software sharers beware! There are many viruses showing up in the software files. Stay away from these five....they are all viruses. Files with 851.1, 765.5, 424.3, 69.4, and 0.0 I haven't noticed this in the music files at all, but the software files are loaded with these file sizes.

Cons: All p2p applications are considered spyware by many antispyware programs,( e-Trust Pest Patrol, Yahoo Antispyware, Spy Cleaner Gold, Trend Micro), etc, so you need to add Limewire to the white list(ignore list) or your spyremovers will uninstall Limewire. Also, stay away from software files under one MB. They all contain viruses.(851.7 KB is a good example).

Pros: Okay.... its got good music downloads and some movies which are really good.
I recommend this program though for music downloads because this has got A LOT of music files and basically all of them are mp3.
Cons: Okay... this is the con... in the zip and EXE files... THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY VIRUSES.... each one of them is basically an virus.. I truly recommend this for only music and movie downloads. Be prepared for an virus attack if you download any zip file or rar or any EXE

Pros: LimeWire is still the best P2P file sharing program on the internet. Grokster is history, iMesh is worthless, now, and Morpheus is loaded adware and spyware. LimeWire is 100 percent free, shows no ads, and is adware-spyware free! Ad-Aware, SpySweeper, Spyware Doctor, XoftSpy, Microsoft AntiSpy, and Spybot, all find ZERO infections in LimeWire! You can run searches in 6 different catagories at the same time, and download about 50 items at the same time,(music, videos, and software). On my Windows XP SP2, with broadband 1512 kbs, I can download 20 popular tunes in less than ONE minute! The search results are huge, and the downloads are lightning fast. LimeWire is the greatest and I highly recommend it, and give it 5 Stars and Two thumbs UP!
