"Lots of Laughs "This Game has no Real Ties to its Predescor""

    by LoW_Reviewer on December 8, 2005

Pros: Excellent idea, We grew up loving Leasure suit Larry.

Cons: Game has loops which get the user stuck, to many bugs to list. This game however is very very limited ability for gameplay.

    "A total deception"

by Nikk on March 6, 2005

Pros: There is no pro. If it was possible to rank this game zero stars, I would do so.

Cons: I really loved playing the earlier LSL games. But this new game is totally different. It is not an adventure at all. It is just a bunch of childish games with no quality whatsoever. In the first of those games, for instance, you have to use the up and down keys to avoid hitting red sperms and touch green ones: this is a game that - on a computer in 1985 - would be too simple.

The resemblance with a real adventure is that your character (Larry) walks in an environment: a building. You would expect that you have to solve riddles and puzzles as in the older LSL adventures - but that is not so.

There is no humor to be found. The game was a waste of my money.

I feel deceived by Sierra. I was looking forward to a new LSL game in the old style but using new computer technology. It is nothing of that.

So, if you once were a LSL fan: don't buy this! If you are in doubt: download the Demo first and try it. I bet that, after trying it, you will decide NOT to buy the full version.

Thanks, Sierra! For this total deception.

"Not at all like the Larry that we came to love...."

by coffeehound on May 22, 2005

Pros: The game looks good. The graphics are well-done and halfway interesting.

Cons: The nature of the problem solving is very different, having been reduced to a series of cheap arcade games. The controls weren't particularly intuitive and it seemed to loop back to problems a lot, even where the particular hurdle had been passed already.

Finally, no uninstaller is included. Windows doesn't recognize the installation at all and I seem to be stuck with a game that I don't like, won't buy or recommend, and won't play again.

    Not your best work, Sierra.
