"Upgrade This"
Version: Lego Star Wars demo
Pros
It was free, it works on my desktop.
Cons
There is only one reason that the game won't run on cards without Pixel Shader: They want to force you to upgrade. Pixel shading is not a required feature and the programmers could have easily made it optional. The only reason they did not make it optional is to increase revenue for NVIDIA. And they expect us to support them when we have P2P? Please.

"dam this"
Version: Lego Star Wars demo
Pros
u know what i've played it and its an amazing game but there is one BIG problem
Cons
well first of all pixel shader v1.1 will be a problem for many many ppl because cards like the nVidia Geforce 4 MX 440 which is a HD supporting video card does not have pixel shader v1.1. This is the first and only game i have ever had problems with and when u say upgrade why would i upgrade a card which is like not even two full years old to a new one especially a great card like this, so yes it is a problem. They should of made it more compatible and when they advertise that u need geforce 3 or better they are wrong what happens if i payed good money for the full version and it doesn't work like they should get thing correct

"Fun, but for the kids"
Version: Lego Star Wars demo
Pros
While this game was clearly intended for the younger ages, it was still fun to see the Star Wars saga told through the eyes of Legos.
Cons
Just as a side note... don't rate a game a "1" just because your computer can't play it. Pixel shader 1.1 shouldn't be an issue for people anymore... it's called upgrading. :-P

"The prequels stink bad"
Version: Lego Star Wars demo
Pros
Jar-Jar Binks can jump real high! Yes sir! The combination of the force and the light-saber attacking is pretty fun and could work well in the full game. The Lego cutscenes are decent and skippable.
Cons
The included mission is too short and too easy. The only real application for the force in the demo was opening doors and rearranging blocks for steps, which isn't the most thrilling. I'm sure I might have missed some cool stuff, but the stink of the prequels lingers ...

"if you like Star Wars and LEGOs, try this cool demo"
Version: Lego Star Wars demo
Pros
For anyone who likes Star Wars and LEGOs. Crisp 3D graphics with reflections off surfaces. Music and sounds from Star Wars. Entertaining to play with characters from Star Wars. Combat action reminds you of the films. Mostly entertaining as an opportunity to participate in the scenes from Star Wars. Children and adults who are fond of LEGOs and Star Wars would like this, at least as a demo.
Cons
Camera view out of your control. I wish I could play it from the first person perspective, but apparently not.
Not really a combat game in the serious sense of say a 'Far Cry'. Haha, ok maybe I am too demanding. :-)

"Great idea for a game!"
Version: Lego Star Wars demo
Pros
This game so far looks and plays great I'm keeping my fingers crossed the rest of the game will keep my interest with the rather simple gameplay...perfect for younger gamers and older gamers alike! Playing through all the battle scenes in the prequels sounds really neat and a sneak peek with the game into the episode 3 material will be a excellent bonus.
I HAD ZERO PROBLEMS INSTALLING AND RUNNING THE DEMO!
Cons
In this demo you can not move the camera which gets some cheap hits on you but other then that no issues.
