I been using this program for years its a great free program & very easy to use.
Cons
The only thing bad is the dll error you get when you first run it but other wise its a good program & I will keep using it myself.

When i run the program i get the error message An error occured while connecting to server. Error message: No version info available. And connecting to any ftp doesn't work either.

Everything. It's such a lightweight product that does everything!
Cons
If you're looking for something more complex, go with something else. This is great for simple up/download w/ multi-threading.

Fast downloads, multi-threaded options that are easy to setup, simple simple simple as an FTP client should be, low memory usage. They haven't updated this product in what 7 years and I still haven't found anything out there that beats it

No updates, Inability to re-login to previous directory on server. That's it

"impossible to uninstall (anyone know how to fix this?)"

When I tried to install it (on Windows XP with SP2), I got an error message that said "could not move uninstall executable to window directory". It seemed to install OK, but now there is no uninstall option under the Start menu or in the control panel for adding/removing programs. Does anyone know what I should do to remove LeechFTP completely?
