As typical I double check all my downloads for viruses, and this one failed.

Update: So turns out the virus was in the cnet downloader for this file. I found another link and it was virus free. That being said this program is still awful. When I selected a SD file all this program did was improperly scale the footage from 4:3 to 16:9 making everything look fat. It did not remove interlacing from the footage or even attempt to blend the fields. It simply scaled the interlaced lines making them very noticeable in the final HD output. It didn't look like the video was sharpened or had it's color space expanded. The final file size was 105MB where the source was a 12MB WMV, and because it would not use my original DV AVI footage the quality was degraded to start with. To top it all off the application spammed me with, "buy the full version for more features..."

This has to be the greatest example of garbage-ware I've experienced in a long time.
