LeaderTask is an attractive and intuitive time management program that allows people to keep track of tasks and projects. With a well-designed interface and useful features, LeaderTask is among the better programs of this type that we've seen.

LeaderTask's interface is sleek and well-organized, reminding us a lot of Microsoft Outlook. A toolbar on the left organizes projects, categories, contacts, and a calendar, while large graphical buttons across the top display other options. Smaller unlabeled buttons within the program have tool tips, which is a thoughtful touch. The program is easy to navigate, and we had little need for the online Help file. Although it doesn't have any particularly outstanding features, we did like the way it allows users to organize tasks in a variety of ways. Tasks, which can be scheduled on the calendar, can be assigned to particular projects, which in turn can belong to various categories. Thus, it's possible to organize activities by those that are personal or work-related (or whatever categories the user desires), and then further by project. A filter allows users to view tasks for a particular project, time period, or other metric, making it easy to see what still needs to be done. We found the program to be an effective way both to organize to-do lists and keep track of scheduled events.

LeaderTask has a 30-day trial period. It installs without issues but leaves a folder behind upon removal. We recommend this program to all users.
