Pros
1. IT WORKS!
2. Simple EXE program installs on a working computer, to wit you can use the program to make bootable USB and/or CD's for booting the computer you need to password reset.
3. I tried everything else - loght / Opht / NT open-versions / others...and after formatting USB, installing linux flavors, they ALL crashed!...->but this one worked FIRST time!! Thank YOU!!! I'm happy enough to buy the Pro-version!!!!Cons
No Cons!...it works. <-period!
Summary
Wow, and to think it took three days playing with other tools before finding this...-try it...it works! Highly recommended!

"does not work, no faqs, support seems to be email only"
Version: Lazesoft Recover My Password Home 3.0
Pros
none although I don't think it did any harm to my PCs.
Cons
wasted 3 CD's
best question: WHY IS THERE NO FAQS?
I repeated got the message:
Could not find kernel image: linux
when booting from there CD(s)
Too bad they have no online support or faqs of any kind - just tutorials that deal with WORKING versions - not the one I got!Summary
wasted my time, cost me 3 CDs, didn't help at all

No problems this tool using at all.

"This is an awesome tool!"
Version: Lazesoft Recover My Password Home 3.0
Pros
It's free and it works as advertised. The actual reset process is handled by a wizard-like interface and goes extremely quickly. This is a great alternative to some of the paid software recovery options out there.
Cons
I couldn't get the Linux version to boot from disk. The Windows version requires Windows AIK which is a significant download. Once you download AIK to have to build the image file (.iso) and then burn it to a CD. However, the program is free so a little sweat equity seems fair!
