"A program with potential, learn to use it!"
Pros: Read the instructions that come with it to learn how to manipulate the catalog and plugins. That way you can let it open whatever you want.
Cons: Doesn't open up much at first, until you learn to manipulate the catalog and the plugins.
Summary: Makes accessing programs, websites, and files fast with just a few keystrokes if you learn how to use it. read more

Pros: GUI, Customizable
Cons: Less powerful than the ones i've used before
Summary: need better alternatives?
"EVERYTHING" can be a great replacement.
"KeyBreeze" can be another good option read more -

"Zero friction Start Menu replacement"
Pros: This program is just great!
- Starts working for you from the first minute
- Great for the vision impaired and icon challenged
- Very quick.
- Learns your (changing) shortcut preferences automatically
- Light on resources
- Open SourceCons: - It has no command history (minor due to its speed but still missed)
- It has plug-ins but you have to dig through lengthy forum posts to find them (and then some work only with the old version)Summary: Launchy is one tiny program with a huge benefit.Once installed, it will scan the Start Programs menu as well as other common locations (I added the Quick Launch toolbar) and then starting programs is a breeze. "Great free program that solved my needs."
Pros: I recently upgraded to Vista, and seriously don't like the interface. But with this program, I can find any programs, apps, docs.. whatever I want to load very quickly and easily without cluttering the desktop or using menus (great on a Laptop).
Cons: Haven't found any yet, but then this is the first program of this kind I have used.
Summary: I love it. If I want to load anything, I just access the interface (Alt-Space) then type a few letters until whatever I want pops up. I use Aulogics defragment program - just type 'au'. Bored and feel lke playing chess, just type it (and it will brin... read more
