    "Works well...when it works"

    July 7, 2014  |   By wkb4447

    Version: LastPass Password Manager 3.1.0

    Pros

Lightening fast log ins; navigation and set up are highly intuitive; had no problem getting up and running quickly.

    Cons

Doesn't always input correct information; sometime won't load information. One has to make sure that the app is actually working, even if asterisk icon is showing on the screen (which should indicate that it is up and running)

    Summary

Toss up. I've spent as much time correcting the settings for individual websites as I have saved time using the app. When it works, it's great. When it doesn't, it's a pain having to reset the password when the app forgets or gets it wrong.

    "Pretty sorry."

    June 3, 2014  |   By slimm29

    Version: LastPass Password Manager 3.1.0

    Pros

It will occasionally remember passwords and occasionally fill in the user name & password blanks.

    Cons

Totally unreliable. The "save password" doesn't always appear. It won't track password changes. You cannot -- or I haven't found out how to -- open the vault, and get your password when Lastpass goes down the tube.

    Summary

    Piece of dung.

    "Best there is"

June 2, 2014  |   By you dont say

    Version: LastPass Password Manager 3.1.0

    Pros

I've tried them all but Last Pass is the best in my opinion. It does everything it says it will do and does it well

    Cons

Sometimes it asks to save sites that are already saved which creates duplicates. A minor issue.

    Summary

Easy to use and integrates into your browser -

    "RoboRobbers[RoboForm]Goodbye; LastPass & $20.00, Hello!"

    May 31, 2014  |   By joelinmn

    Version: LastPass Password Manager 3.1.0

    Pros

Does everything RoboForm does for free, saving you $20.00 a year. Even if you buy RoboDeForm'd, it is useless after a year's time (disabled) unless you pay another $20.00 and on and on.
Relatively easy setup, data from RoboRobbers[AKA RoboForm] and other password storing/generating programs migrates with instructions provided in Help files.

    Cons

There are a few more quirks and rough edges than RoboForm, for example, passwords may have to be cued instead of automatically appearing on some websites. Editing data is easy - after a time or two of using it to modify something. It does not seem quite as quick on some sites as RoboForm, but for free, it is definitely worth the minor hiccups. I'm sure the developers will continue to polish this little gem as time goes on and personally, I'd be willing to tip their cause, because freeware this good is worth supporting.

    Summary

As a good friend of mine from the Carolina's would say, gopher it Bubba; you too Sis...You can keep any other password manager you have, migrate data into LastPass and if you don't like it, delete it and keep your old password manager and data unchanged. It is worth a try for the benefits of freedom from having to rent something you purchased - RoboForm or other programs, that require annual ante-ups to keep using something you have already purchased!

    "Works good!"

    May 21, 2014  |   By dnelsch

    Version: LastPass Password Manager 3.1.0

    Pros

I use it slightly different in that I already have passwords for multi-many sites, but it remembers them all.

    Cons

Perhaps the biggest issue I have is that it doesn't seem to work well on my iPad or iPhone.

    Summary

Sure beats going to the PASS file and looking up the individual password for each site.

    "Switched From RoboCrap"

    April 18, 2014  |   By rjriley5000

    Version: LastPass Password Manager 3.1.0

    Pros

Integration between LastPass, xMarks and TooManyTabs makes a fantastic combination.

    Cons

    Really none.

    Summary

I had been a early user of RoboForm and purchased several lifetime licenses. Then RoboForm stuck a gun to our heads, dropping the export feature and giving a very short window to further grease their palms or lose the service.

I switched to LastPass at that time and have been a very happy camper since. I work across many computers and LastPass, xMarks and TooManyTabs allows me to share on all of them, even allowing me to click a few times and open a currently open tab from one computer which is being dogged down on any of the others.

As it turned out, the RoboDuds, or should I say RoboCrooks did me a favor, these other products are far superior.

    "Manages my passwords just fine."

    April 18, 2014  |   By laryjones--2008

    Version: LastPass Password Manager 3.1.0

    Pros

Last Pass is easy to set up. It is automatic for web passwords.

    Cons

No password generator is included. This is not so much a negative as a caution.

    Summary

Works just fine. I have no complaints.
