Version: Laser Tank 4.1
"Awesome! Exactly the kind of game I wanted!"
Pros: Simple, basic, no frills, addictive, tricksy, maddeningly mongoose! I'm really not into the new high-graphics games. I'm into simple addiction through basic fun. This one is a brain-teaser and I love that sort of thing. It's well made, and even on the Kids level, I can't figure out how to get to the flag yet. But I will, that's the fun of it, I really want to. It feels like HACK. Oh, man.. I need to get the latest Hack and play that again.
Cons: There is NO help for newbies to the game. It's all about creating new levels. Players are left high and dry for figuring out strategy for existing levels, or even what they're supposed to do. Clicking "Hint" at different points in the level should bring up different hints. There is no indication for how to aim your shot. For example if you are supposed to move a mirror by hitting its base with your laser, how are you supposed to aim? Help does not say. Yet the hint tells you to move a mirror. Hmmm...
