OS X: Preferences are now saved to the Preferences folder rather than the PreferencesPanes folder. Installer will automatically move you existing preferences file to the correct location.
OS X: Multiple Folder Options now works correctly.
OS X: Scheduling still not implemented
OS 9/X: Added "Never Remove Files" option to Backup Set definition, to permit users to accumulate files on the destination.
OS 9/X: Improved date/time checking to reduce reports of destination file being different from source file***
OS 9: Installer checks for proper installation of "LaCie Backup Support"
OS 9/X: Installer Log now produced and saved in the Documents:Installer Logs folder.
OS 9/X: Backup logfile is limited to 32K maximum size; if you are copying many files, logfile will report that it is full, but Backup will continue to completion. All files are backed-up, but you will not have complete log information.
OS X: SilverKeeper cannot perform a complete Backup of your System volume, as it does not keep track of file permission information. We recommend you limit your Backups to files within your Home directory that you have read and write permissions for your user name. Attempting to backup system files, or files from a different User home may not complete successfully.
However, there is a workaround for expert users...
If you have dual boot capability, and reboot into System 9, a complete Backup of your volume will preserve all OS 9 and OS X file information on the destination.
