From Cyna Games :Kyodai Mahjongg is a great version of the famous Mahjongg Solitaire (or Shanghai) oriental game. It's been in development for 10 years. The purpose of the game is to remove all the tiles from a board. The tiles must be removed by pairs. The rules are simple and the game is extremely addictive. 2D and 3D mode, hall of fame, user-friendly interface, great and relaxing oriental and electronic music especially composed for the game, lots of mini-games, hundreds of backgrounds, tilesets, layouts and sound effects.
Has replaced original Ancient tileset with a sharpened, crisper version which works quite well. Finally added Realistic Stones support for all mini-games. Now you can switch naturally between windowed and maximized modes by double-clicking on the caption or clicking on the Maximize icon, and you can hide the taskbar in maximized mode by unchecking Show Taskbar in the View menu. Version 1.21 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: Kyodai Mahjongg 2006 1.21
Pros: I generally play more action-oriented games like Counter-Strike, but Kyodai Mahjongg is just so good that you can't possibly not love it! The graphics and gameplay are excellent. There's also some pretty interesting music included with the game. You can customize it to fit your tastes too. If you want a Mahjongg game, look no further.
Cons: The closest thing to a con I can think of is that it's not free. However, the $22.95 it costs to register your copy (and get rid of the occasional nag screens) is a GREAT deal. You get free updates for life after registration, and the game is updated frequently.

"Best mahjongg download out there"
Pros: Numerous options, tilesets, backgrounds, animations, music, etc. Easily configurable to your own style. Also includes several other games including a tetris-like one, except, in my opinion, more fun and challenging.
Cons: No notable flaws; some of the fancy 3d and lighting features detract from the actual game, but can be turned off.

"A MUST HAVE for ALL MahJongg players!"
Pros: This is the ULTIMATE mahjongg game!
The games offered are all enjoyable. I love them all and play them all on a regular basis. Some of the tilesets are for young children. The games range from simple click and play to some thought and strategy. I have spent HOURS looking at different tilesets and layouts. Choose your favorite layouts and recall them anytime. The layouts seem endless. This has a timer to allow you to keep track of your BEST TIMES and sometimes challenge others in your household to clear away a certain layout quicker than you have! The music included is beautiful and very mesmerizing. If you choose, you can play your own music by following the directions of the creator. Choosing your own tilesets - and allowing your preferences to be separate from other users in your family - is enjoyable and an appealing task as the beauty of all this game offers is awe inspiring! I enjoy the different ways the tiles can appear, how the board can move in 3D aspects during play - it used to bug me but I really enjoy it! One can even move the board further away or closer to see the tiles.
The backgrounds and complimenting wallpapers are, again, beautiful to behold.
I have enjoyed this creator's efforts in writing and improvement Kyodai MahJongg since discovering it back in the late 1990's and I continue to download upgrades. I decided early on the cost was more than worth what I got out of it and would have paid much more than what I did. In my opinion, Kyodai MahJongg is worth much more than what you pay for it.
If you enjoy playing MahJongg, you'll LOVE this. I have not yet been disappointed!
Cons: As of this writing there is no version of this for a Palm OS or cellphone :( Not to say I'm addicted but I'd love to carry this with me when I am traveling!

Pros: Very pretty graphics. Nice work on the 3d stacking and sound effects. Plays like a full version - no limitations that i have found - just a persistant (and polite) reminder message that speaks of broke game designers who love you
Cons: the messages are so good i will pay for it out of guilt - i love this game
