"I'm a beginner - easy to use...and works well"
Pros: - Easy to use
- Looks like it encrypts quite weel
Cons: - I couldn't find a way to encrypt files on a removable medium like a cd...but it could be possible...I just didn't know how to do it.

Cons: As soon as this program is installed it wants access to the internet, there's no obvious reason as to why it needs to do so. I know that checking for updates is often given as the reason for software to do this, that's iffy behaviour in my view as I can do that myself, when I choose to and how I want. I don't feel so secure about letting something that's supposed to enhance the security of my files, needing to 'phone home' or whatever the mystery reason was, to access the internet for an unexplained reason. To read the FAQ's the software opens IE when I use Firefox from choice and do not want IE used unless it's 100% necessary, another security issue I have with Kruptos. With my security at risk in my view, I decided not to trust a program that gives no reasons for it's behaviour as I describe here.

"integrates well with windows file explorer"
Pros: integrates well with windows file explorer, all i have to do is right click the file or folder for easy encryption and decryption. it's exactly what i was looking for, just to keep kids and nosey people from "accidentally" opening my files.
I love the speed, and really has no limitation on the number and size of files. I tested it on one of my photo albums and encrypted over 900+ photos quickly error free.
It doesn't hide the files/folders, or create another virtual drive, or delete the original file, or self destructs with the wrong password (which to me is overkill for my purposes). It can also create self extracting files for transport. This is just perfect. Thank you for making this free!
Oh you can also put in a password hint.
Cons: The interface and the icon for encrypted files could use a makeover, but since it's free, i'm not taking down a star.

Pros: works great & easy to use. have had this for a while and it's perfect. this encrypts everything, pictures, videos, audio, anything AND when it encrypts it doesn't clue anyone in as to WHAT the item is that's encypted since it replaces the icon with a kruptos default icon which is the same icon on everything.
its the perfect solution to my problem of wanting things encrypted but having no money to buy a program.
Cons: nothing. i have no complaints.
