NEW DISTRIBUTION METHOD: Korea-Japan 2002 is now a freeware with opional contribution.
What does this mean? Korea-Japan 2002 is freeware because you can use it for free. Unlike shareware application that are limited in trial period and functions, with Korea-Japan 2002 you get a fully functional and free application (with online update service included).
Ok, but what’s about the optional contribution? Korea-Japan 2002 exists in four version (MacOS8/9, MacOS X, Mac 68k, Windows), each version is available in two languages (IT,EN), it has icons and “ReadMe” files customized for the various platform and only the implementation of the v1.5 features required a whole week of intensive work and testing. This means that the Korea-Japan 2002 development has required much time and resources in comparision with that I’ve planned. Thus, if you like this solfware, feel free to send a little contribution (5-10 $ or the no-coin equivalent in your country), a comment and the version you’re using at the postal address showed at the end of this document. USER INTERFACE:
added the support for the conversion of the matches dates and time based on your local timezone and your system format. You can insert directly your timezone difference with the Korea-Japan or you can compute it automatically via Internet, simply by selecting your geographical area.
added the “Copy” function to every section of the application (you can “Paste” data directly into a spreedsheet or word processor).
the statistics data update, now occurs automatically and only if there was changes into the matches results.
added the “Save Results” command (now you aren’t forced to close the application for beeing asked to save data).
some typos made into the english version are been solved.
PERFORMANCE:
the table update algoritm was rewritten and now is at least two time faster.
the statistics computation is now execuded into a “thread” for maximum interface responsiveness.
