Even though we find its trial restriction a bit unreasonable, this CD ripper's pleasant design and extra features help make it a quality overall choice. Kingdia CD Extractor's clean-looking interface is easy on the eyes, though we wish the program had a dedicated icon for its conversion utility; we initially didn't know that feature existed until we dug through the menu items. The application can rip or transform tracks among a number of popular formats, including MP3, WAV, AAC, and OGG. Similar to any halfway-decent ripper, this one retrieves track info from the Web, though it doesn't do so automatically. You can configure the audio quality of your new files, encode tracks using the VBR method, and even normalize songs. The biggest problem with this program is the demo only extracts the first three tracks per disc, though you can convert as many files as you want if you go three at a time. Nevertheless, folks seeking a polished ripper with a few nice extras might do well to check out Kingdia CD Extractor.Publisher's description
