  "Don't know if it's working correctly"

  Pros

  I have installed this program on my PC and it works correctly.

  Cons

  Having installed this program, I was testing it's ability to access books on Amazon. I don't have a kindle at this point and the only way I can access a book is "on the cloud". When attempting to download to my PC, there is NO option to do so, only to the cloud. Therefore, I am unable to read it offline.

  Summary

  I am unable to find a solution to this problem so I have reservations about how useful it is.

  Reading these negative reports and knowing mine works OK, I wonder if it's the Cnet download that's at fault? I got mine direct from Amazon and can read ebooks downloaded from Amazon fine on my laptop without having my browser open. My quibble is not being able to read ebooks from other sites on it, and that I sometimes have to hit the synch button to see my books on the library page. Do make sure you have yours set to read the drive/location where you keep the actual files.
