• A little uncomfortable

  It does work so long as everyone is on the same network (no wireless, no V-LANs)

  Cons

  The Kinberlink window, when open, is always on top. Rather than having a standard IM history of what has been said instead every time a message is sent it erases everything before it. The Reply button doesn't really work. Essentially the interface is totally screwy and takes a lot of getting used to. As far as implenting this in a company goes I can imagine people would be turned off by the interface difficulty to use and employees would use other means to communicate.

  Wouldn't recognise other computers on our wireless ad-hoc network. after installing we encountered other network problems. Difficult to completely uninstall, required system restore to remove.

  Program does what it does. But it eats up 14 meg of ram that just gradually increases if you log your items. If you want a messaging system that logs your conversatinos use Trillian otherwise use any good IM program.

  Nice and simple, good for basic messaging over a simple LAN, perhaps best for a home network. No messing around getting setup, instantly recognises other users on your network. We use it for communicating with family members around the house.
