"Only a limited number of websits, not really a browser!"
Version: KidRocket KidSafe Web Browser for Kids 1.5.0.2
Pros
It looks okay, I guess?
Cons
Imposible to exit if you forget you passward. Only a limited number of websits, not really a webbrowser for kids. It is hard to get used to and the controls is a little funny.
Summary
I did not really like it.

"Good concept, but not good enough"
Version: KidRocket KidSafe Web Browser for Kids 1.5.0.2
Pros
Free. Has some neat activities for kids.
Cons
It can't be changed. Some websites don't even work. No flash plug-in which is required for most kids sites. Have to set a password ever time. Cannot add new web sites. Does not allow access to other installed programs like games.
Summary
This software is free and you get what you pay for. I ended up downloading Kid Savvy PC which isn't free, but it works like a champ and lets the parent add/remove links, add access to other programs, etc.

"Very limited"
Version: KidRocket KidSafe Web Browser for Kids 1.5.0.2
Pros
It's free, but limited.
Cons
You are not able to add websites or add access to other programs installed on the computer. When it's locked out, it doesn't stop the windows key from working. It's plug-ins are set. Most kid website require flash but kid rocket isn't updatable.
Summary
It's free but very limited. I would go with another program, even if it cost a few dollars. Kid Savvy PC is what I now use and It does the job.

"Looks safe, but can't receive e-mail"
Version: KidRocket KidSafe Web Browser for Kids 1.5.0.2
Pros
I like that it is a self-contained browsing environment. It has a timer that allows a parent to set an amount of time their child can browse or play games.
Cons
It is set up to do outgoing email only - you have to provide a reply-to address and all incoming mail comes to that address, and is not viewable within the KidRocket browser. So email conversations can't happen within the Kidrocket environment.
Summary
Another thing you can't do is add additional web pages to the trusted sites. There are about 10 sites that they have "approved" for kids, with tons of kid-safe content, but that is a miniscule slice of what is actually available. I think the developers say they are planning to add more sites, but as a parent I really need to be able to add/remove sites on my own.
