Version: KidLogger 1.4
Pros: How to make Kidlogger almost undetectable: When I installed it I just unchecked where it offers to put it in start menu. After installation, I moved the desktop icon to my Documents folder and renamed it. You could also rename it under programs in the file tree. I doubt any kid that's not a total computer geek would find it. It captures a picture of your desktop every 15 minutes and logs keystrokes and programs. It works and it is absolutely free. I'm happy.
Cons: Not sure if it automatically deletes files after a certain period of time since I have not used it very long.

"Excellent software. Exactly what I was looking for .... let me tell you why"
Pros: I needed someting that I could copy from a USB key and get up and runing on a cheeting spouse's laptop in seconds.
I loged in with the guest account, copyed the files to one of the networked shared folders, created a windows short-cut to MainWnd.exe (with the -m option for silent run) and put the shortcut into the "all users" start-up folder in the documents and settings folder. (NOTE: you have to use the "MainWnd.exe -m" command line option for SILENT mode!!)
I loged off and walked away. Literally 1 minute operation. If I can do it, you can too. Note: I practiced on another computer a few times.
Install the software on any computer just to get MainWnd.Exe and Hook.Dll. These are the only 2 files you really need. Place the files in a networked shared folder that you can access remotely. *Note that with windows xp, if the folders are shared, you can access them if the laptop is on, with or without the main user loging in.
Perfect for determining if you have a cheeting spouse.
Cons: if the user turns OFF the computer (usoposed to loging off), unless the computer is turned on the NEXT day, you loose the day's log.
