The Kentico Windows 8 Manager requires the installation of a web service in the Kentico installation. This web service provides functionality to interact with the application and perform administrative functions. It requires a valid SSL certificate on the installation prior to use. This is to ensure all communication with the site is encrypted and secure. It features Kentico Site Management, start or stops sites, view Site Health, view Event Log, and share events with others.
