"Exactly What We Were Looking For!"
Version: KeepAlive Pro 14.5
Pros
The base functionality is perfect. Great security features. I can restrict someone from shutting KeepAlive Pro down. I can set password access on KeepAlive Pro and make is so that a person can not use the task manager to abort it. Works on Vista!
Cons
The help section needs some work.
Summary
There are other programs that only provide the base functionality that KeepAlive Pro has. I like the fact of security. We have 100's of servers and a lot of people who maintain them. The security features gives us peace of mind to know that KeepAlive Pro can not be mistakenly shut down. I have tried other copy cat programs of KeepAlive Pro and they can not detect a non-responsive program 100% of the time.
KeepAlive Pro has many more features than any other that I know of. -

"Disappointing"
Version: KeepAlive Pro 9
Pros
It has alot of features... shame that the basic functionality doesn't work.
Cons
First, it is downright ugly. Second, we had crashes that it didn't catch, which is why we needed the software in the first place.
We ended up going with a much simpler application (listed here on download.com).

"Does Exactly what it says it does!"
Version: KeepAlive Pro 9
Pros
This program has it all. Security, e-mail, text message, restart failed and hung apps, and more. We are glad the price dropped. I own a small company that runs software that is critical to our operation. KeepAlive Pro is very stable, and allows me to go on vacation without worrying about applications freezing or aborting. I have it text message my cell phone.....cool!
Cons
Nothing yet.
