blocked at start up by register screen which requires your email, pops up a website which is blocked by WOT (web of trust - red rating). i did not proceed any further, immediate uninstall. -

None. It didn't do anything.

I downloaded the software and when I tried to use it, I got a pop up saying there was a new version, did I want to download it? When I declined, the programme disappeared and I had to click the icon again to get it up again, only to get the same message. I was forced to click yes, which made the programme disappear again and I was taken to the website where I was offered a chance to download a Beta trial version. I declined and uninstalled.

Don't even bother, this is poison.

To all those people spreading negative reviews, let me tell you that it worked for me, It did NOT ask for money, And to prove that, I would post a video, made out of Kate's Video Cutter on my YouTube Account (GudFemaleLifeOnEarth), on 1st April. That's 10 days later from now. And you'll see.

This software did cut off unwanted beginnings and ends of videos that were downloaded off the Internet. But, it placed a crude logo on the resulting video.
Summary
This program will work, but the final output file will have the name of the software superimposed on it, so I didn?t like that. In fact, I'll pay for software that doesn't do that rather than have a lousy-looking output file. Thanks but no thanks.

No pros if product leaves unusable outcome.
Cons
The finished product, your cut video, has a huge overlay of the product name at the beginning of the cut. But that's only the start, because the resulting video is impossible to watch because of the fuzzy quality.
