Pros: it can be quickly deleted
Cons: does not work, no online help

Version: Kate's Video Cutter 4.4
"Does what it says it does, to the letter, no more."
Pros: Limited function is easy to use. Converts from one format to another.
Cons: Help is just an ad for "Fake Webcam," a legit but strange name site for site selling video editing software. Time marker does not move in realtime. Can't set default source directory, have to locate for each file, painful.
Summary: Quick, low-weight, no frills, video cutter that doesn't do anything that other video editors and converters do much better. read more

Pros: Software is easy to use and can be used as a video converter.
Cons: Forces registration without any options to cancel and then redirects You to a suspicious 'fake webcam' site. The software can only cut beginning and the end of a file.
Summary: As an editor it isn't anything else than a simple editor You can find anywhere. A clever thing is that it can convert the file to many different formats. There are better software for that too. I don't recommend this product. The redirect to spam sit... read more

Version: Kate's Video Cutter 4.4
"Doesn't process, just stops."
Pros: When I first downloaded it it worked like a charm. Loved the simplicity of it.
Cons: Now, for some unknown reason it went on strike and won't work.
Summary: I love this product, and it worked well for quite a while. All of a sudden just stopped working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several versions of it, and can't get any to work now. This one saves and goes to process, then just stops. Really... read more
